Indonesian men's singles and doubles champions of the Indonesia Masters in Kudus

Indonesian men's singles badminton player Richie Duta Richardo and men's doubles pair Muhammad Rian Ardianto/Daniel Edgar Marvino successfully presented the championship title for Indonesia at the 2026 Polytron Kudus Indonesia Masters event.

Meanwhile, Rian/Daniel secured the men's doubles title after defeating the South Korean pair, Jin Yong/Jo Song Hyun, in two straight games with a score of 21-19, 21-12.

Richie, after the match in Kudus, Sunday, said the title was a special achievement because it was his first title at the BWF World Tour Super 100 level.

"I'm certainly happy to have finished the Super 100 tournament in Kudus well, without any injuries or other untoward incidents. I'm also happy to have won the Super 100 in Kudus, a city I've known since my junior years and where I grew up before joining the national training camp from the Djarum club," said Richie after the match.

He explained that his first game defeat was due to his lack of understanding of his opponent's playing style. The strategy he implemented actually gave Dong the opportunity to develop a fast and powerful game.
