The Indonesian House of Representatives approved the ratification of the Draft Law on One Data Indonesia into law at the 9th Plenary Session of the DPR RI for Session Period I of the 2026-2027 Session Year.
The law, which consists of 20 chapters and 141 articles, regulates government data governance, including standardization, interoperability, security, and data utilization for national needs.
"We are trying to support interoperability and infrastructure," said Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria after attending a Plenary Session at the Nusantara II Building, Parliament Complex.
Nezar said that the implementation of the One Data Indonesia policy involves many ministries and institutions.
"Many ministries and institutions are involved here, which will maintain and manage One Data Indonesia. However, we see the orchestration being led by Bappenas," he said.
