The NBA released the group draws for the 2025 NBA Cup tournament on October 31, with the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks drawn in Group C of the Eastern Conference alongside the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat.
Quoting the NBA website, the tournament, which is entering its third year, will play the group stage until November 28.
Each team is scheduled to play four group matches, two home and two away. The top eight teams will advance to the quarterfinals on December 9–10, followed by the semifinals on December 13, and the final on December 16 in Las Vegas.
The NBA Cup finals will not count towards regular season records or statistics, but games in the group stage, quarterfinals, and semifinals will still be counted as part of the regular season.
For teams that do not advance to the NBA Cup knockout phase, the league will add two additional games against fellow teams that did not advance, remaining a full 82-game regular season. The full schedule for the NBA Cup and the 2025–26 NBA regular season is scheduled to be announced in August.
