ChatGPT releases Study Mode to train students' critical thinking skills

Artificial intelligence technology company OpenAI announced the launch of Study Mode, a new feature within ChatGPT designed to help students develop critical thinking skills, rather than simply seeking instant answers.

when this feature is activated, ChatGPT will ask back questions to test the user's understanding. In some cases, the chatbot will even refuse to provide a direct answer if the student doesn't actively engage with the material.

OpenAI stated that Study Mode is now available to ChatGPT Free, Plus, Pro, and Team users. The company also plans to expand the feature to ChatGPT Edu plan subscribers, which typically includes students with school-provided access, in the coming weeks.
