Tijuana, September 7.- The Office of the Attorney General, headed by María del Carmen Espinoza Ochoa, through the Office of Accountability, continues its investigation and gathering of evidence in the case of alleged embezzlement by former municipal public servants.
The cited file points to alleged irregularities in awarding processes that were carried out directly when regulations established the public modality , which is prescribed, according to the Administrative Responsibilities Law of the State of Baja California, in an alleged misappropriation of resources.
The ongoing administrative liability procedure is due to the unlawful participation of the individual in acts or omissions in the execution of contracts, whether municipal or state.
The head of the Internal Oversight Body has made it very clear that one of the main pillars of this transformation is the fight against corruption, accountability, and transparency ; and those who have violated any law that harms city resources must be held accountable before the appropriate authorities.
