The Directorate General of Public Communication and Media of the Ministry of Communication and Digital educated students at the Assalafiyyah Islamic Boarding School in Mlangi, Yogyakarta as SAHABAT TUNAS through a traditional wayang golek art performance.
SAHABAT TUNAS is an activity designed to encourage young people to become skilled at using gadgets, accompanied by an understanding of ethics and security in the digital space so that their use becomes productive.
"Through the SAHABAT TUNAS program, we encourage children to learn about their rights and responsibilities as smart and responsible digital children, and encourage parents to always monitor their children's digital activities," said Fifi Aleyda Yahya, Director General of KPM at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, in an official statement confirmed on Saturday.
This program is also in line with the implementation of PP Tunas or Government Regulation Number 17 of 2025 concerning the Governance of Electronic System Implementation in Child Protection to create a digital space that is friendly to Indonesian children.
