By strengthening cross-border payment systems such as QRIS and accelerating the ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement , according to Meutya, Indonesia is encouraging the formation of a connected, trusted, and sustainable regional digital economy ecosystem.
"QRIS has been connected with several partners in the region, such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. This can reduce barriers, reduce costs, and expand access to regional markets. More broadly, digitalization also drives increased productivity," said Meutya, also conveyed in a press release .
