According to him, the Presidential Decree on AI will serve as a reference for various sectors, including the private sector, government, and AI development stakeholders, including research conducted in universities and industry.
"And of course, this will have very strategic significance for Indonesia. It will complement our regulatory framework for the implementation and use of AI in various sectors. Therefore, this will serve as a reference and national guideline for developing AI in Indonesia," said Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Technology Nezar during a media briefing after attending the AI Pre-Summit 2026 event.
