During his appearance in the Fox Sports analysis studio alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic and French legend Thierry Henry, Speed was asked which team he expected to win the World Cup title.
He did not hesitate to answer, saying: "Portugal's Ronaldo will of course win the World Cup."
As a joke, Thierry Henry turned his back on him while Ibrahimovic jokingly grabbed the microphone from him and moved him away from the camera, demanding that he leave the studio.
"Speed" responded as he left, saying: "Watch Ronaldo win the championship, I promise you haters."
