The "Eco Echo Trail Run 2026" trail running event will soon be held in Sentul, Bogor Regency, West Java.
Eco Echo Trail Run is a conservation campaign-based trail run event that aims to raise public awareness of Sumatran Elephant habitat preservation and the importance of harmonious living between humans and wildlife.
Through a sporting approach and community collaboration, the Eco Echo Trail Run encourages the public to make every step a contribution to elephant conservation in Sumatra.
Quoted from an official statement, Sunday, Eco Echo Trail Run 2026 is a charity trail run event in collaboration between WWF-Indonesia and SalingJaga which carries the theme "Every Step Echoes Conservation".
These two institutions want to encourage the public to participate in cross-country sports while also learning about the importance of maintaining ecosystem balance and the future of wildlife in our country.
Both want the public to contribute and actively participate in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem by protecting Sumatran elephants and restoring the Peusangan Landscape in Aceh.
"Every step taken by participants is not just a journey to the finish line, but also a real contribution to voicing the importance of preserving the Sumatran elephant habitat," said Rusyda Deli, Director of People and Growth.
