A total of 107 racers participating in the second round of the Mandalika Festival of Speed (MFoS) car racing event and the Indonesian Touring Car Race (ITCR) National Championship began competing at the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Saturday.
"The ITCR national championship and the second round of the MFoS are important opportunities to support the development of national four-wheel racing and strengthen the Indonesian motorsports ecosystem," said Ananda Mikola, President Director of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association.
Ananda claims that the event, which runs until Sunday (14/6), continues to develop as an important event in developing national four-wheel racing.
"Through the MFoS and the ITCR National Championship, we want to ensure that the Mandalika International Circuit not only hosts international events but also becomes a home for the development and fostering of national motorsport talent," he said.
He hopes that this event will provide wider opportunities for racers to compete while also encouraging the growth of the Indonesian motorsport ecosystem.
