Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal made sure to attend the Saudi national team's final training session on Monday, ahead of their anticipated match against Uruguay in the opening round of the 2026 World Cup.
The visit of Prince Abdul Aziz, the Saudi Minister of Sports, to the "Green" camp and his interaction with the players also attracted attention, in a scene that reflects the extent of support before the start of the global competitions.
The training session was attended by the President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al-Mishal, in direct support of the national team before the global event, as the Greek coach, Donis, led the technical and tactical training in preparation for the match.
The Saudi national team will begin its journey at dawn on Tuesday at 01:00 Mecca time, facing Uruguay in the tournament hosted jointly by the United States, Canada and Mexico, in Group H which also includes Spain and Cape Verde.
