Mexico City, March 2.- A total of 40,400 doses of cocaine were seized by members of the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora.
Through intelligence work and coordination with the National Guard (GN) and the Attorney General's Office (FGR), information was gathered on the existence of a property being used for drug storage.
"Therefore, as they intensified their searches in the aforementioned neighborhood, they located a home with the characteristics they already knew, so Mexican Army and National Guard personnel established a security perimeter, allowing members of the FGR to execute a technical investigation order," Sedena stated.
Cocaine, weighing a total of 20.8 kilograms, 27 long-barreled weapons, 3,190 cartridges, 91 magazines, and a vehicle were seized at the scene, all of which were placed at the disposal of the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office.
