Tijuana, April 7.- More than 13 million deaths worldwide are due to preventable environmental causes, according to estimates by the World Health Organization (WHO).
World Health Day has been celebrated on April 7 since 2019, following a WHO resolution, to remind governments and their citizens of the importance of health care.
Every year, the WHO has launched campaigns with different perspectives on health. In 2022, with the "Our Planet, Our Health" campaign, the organization dedicated this day to remembering that "the climate crisis is also a health crisis."
