Media reports have revealed the only condition under which Al-Ahli Saudi Club may allow its German coach, Matthias Jäsle, to leave during the current summer transfer window.
Jäissle's name has recently been linked to the possibility of moving to coach AC Milan, succeeding Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri, as several reports indicated that the German coach had expressed his willingness to significantly reduce his salary in order to get the opportunity to lead the "Rossoneri".
Recent reports indicate that Milan's management held another video conference meeting with Jacele as part of their efforts to reach an agreement for him to take over as the team's technical director next season.
According to Okaz newspaper, which quoted informed sources, the German coach’s contract with Al-Ahli does not include a traditional penalty clause, but rather contains a contractual clause that guarantees the protection of the club’s interests in full.
The sources explained that any club wishing to sign Yassela before June 30, 2027, would be required to pay the full remaining value of his contract, which is estimated at around 12 million euros.
The contract does not give Al-Ahly management an additional advantage through an optional clause that allows for the extension of the contract for an additional season by agreement of both parties, which strengthens the club’s position in the face of any attempts to negotiate the departure of the coach.
Sources confirmed that Al-Ahly's management is committed to keeping Yassla, who led the team to achieve several notable accomplishments during the past period.
