Tijuana, July 16.- A judge based in Tijuana, Baja California, ordered the prosecution of a man identified as Jesús Alberto Chávez Mosqueda, for his probable responsibility in crimes against public health, possession of a firearm for the exclusive use of the Army, Navy and Air Force, and possession of a firearm without a license.
The defendant was arrested last month by members of the Baja California State Citizen Security Force while driving a vehicle carrying approximately 15,000 pills containing fentanyl hydrochloride, two firearms, and ammunition.
The Attorney General's Office (FGR) presented the case to a judge, who ruled that he should be prosecuted and held in the Social Rehabilitation Center (CERESO) in Tijuana.
