Tiranga, August 22.- The Attorney General's Office (FGR), the Municipal Police, and the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) raided a home in Tijuana, Baja California, where they seized an arsenal, methamphetamines, and heroin.
According to the approved police report included in the investigation file, Municipal Police and Sedena officers were conducting a routine patrol in the Valle de las Palmas neighborhood when they observed a passerby, upon seeing the officers, throw down a bag containing several items and enter a home to flee.
Inside the bag, they found four plastic bags containing a granular substance and four handguns, so the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Specialized Regional Control Prosecutor's Office (FECOR) requested a search warrant from a judge.
With that judicial authorization, members of the Attorney General's Office (FGR), the Sedena (Sedena), and the Tijuana Municipal Police entered the premises, where they found 13 long weapons, a grenade launcher attachment, a barrel, 16 magazines of various calibers, 943 live rounds of ammunition, 76 kilos of methamphetamine, three kilos 600 grams of heroin, one kilo of opium, and one kilo of a white substance.
