The Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs asked parents to reduce children's gadget use during the Eid holiday.
  Minister of Communication and Digital  Meutya Hafid invited families to take advantage of the momentum of homecoming and the Eid holiday to strengthen direct interaction between parents and children by reducing the use of gadgets .

According to Meutya, the Eid holiday period can be an opportunity for families to build more intensive communication amidst the increasing use of digital technology.

"Use this holiday and homecoming period to spend as much time as possible with your family. You can turn off your gadgets, or at least minimize their use," said Meutya.

He also reminded that the government is moving towards implementing Government Regulation number 17 of 2025 concerning the Protection of Electronic System Governance in Child Protection  which will be effective on March 28, 2026.
