Furphy is out with the Pacers due to an ACL injury.
The Indiana Pacers have suffered another major blow after forward Johnny Furphy was ruled out until the end of the 2025-2026 season due to an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in his right knee.

The NBA website on Tuesday stated that Pacers management announced the Australian player suffered the injury during the third quarter of yesterday's 104-122 loss against the Toronto Raptors.

Furphy then underwent an examination at the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) results confirmed the severity of the injury.

Furphy's injury adds to the long list of players from the 2024-2025 NBA runner-up who will be sidelined this season.
