Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian proposed the introduction of a special index so that Government Regulation Number 17 of 2025 concerning the Protection of Electronic System Governance in Child Protection can be implemented effectively in every region in Indonesia.
"I suggested we create an index. An index of regions concerned with protecting children from the dangers or negative impacts of electronic systems. This will automatically create competition among regions. They certainly don't want to be at the bottom," Tito said during the Tunas PP Follow-up Coordination Meeting at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs Office.
The Minister of Home Affairs also expressed his commitment to ensuring that the implementation of the Tunas PP, including its socialization, can be included in regional government program planning, both in the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan , the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget , and in the annual Government Work Plan .
