The Red and White Cabinet strengthened the commitment outlined in Government Regulation Number 17 of 2025 concerning the Protection of Electronic System Governance in Child Protection to protect children more comprehensively through a coordination meeting.
This coordination meeting was led by the Ministry of Communication and Digital, involving the Cabinet Secretary, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Population and Family Development, and the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection.
"Collaboratively, we have all agreed to accelerate actions leading up to March 28 so that efforts to protect children in the digital realm, in line with the President's spirit, can be implemented more effectively," said Communications and Digital Minister Meutya Hafid at the Ministry of Communications and Digital Office.
In the meeting, Meutya emphasized that PP Tunas is the Indonesian government's way of providing protection to children in the digital space with broad coverage.
